CoolSculpting in Melbourne
At Skinovate in Melbourne, we are proud to provide our clients with two CoolSculpting treatments at the same time, thanks to our dual-sculpting systems.
Have you noticed that as you age, fat deposits develop much quicker? This is the result of a slowed metabolism, and can especially be noticed on your waistline, tummy, arms, legs and thighs! As time goes by, stubborn fat deposits remain that you just cannot remove, so what should you do?
Here in our Melbourne clinic, CoolSculpting utilises controlled cooling technology to freeze and destroy fat in a process that allows the body to naturally remove the dead cells, resulting in an extremely safe procedure. After only a few weeks or months of treatment, those stubborn layers of fat that you once thought were impossible to remove will begin to decrease in size.
What should you expect from CoolSculpting?
Coolsculpting is a non-invasive procedure due to the nature of the process so you will experience minimal discomfort during your procedure. Throughout the treatment, an applicator is used to evenly distribute cooling to the treatment area to crystallise and kill fat cells. This takes around one hour for each target area.
Results differ but usually, after an hour of CoolSclupting treatment, around 28%-30% of fat cells are destroyed. When the fat cells die they will be absorbed by the body and released naturally. You can expect to feel a little uncomfortable in the first 10 minutes of CoolSculpting treatment, but as your body acclimatises to the cooling sensation, the discomfort will diminish drastically.
The overall discomfort level of CoolSculpting treatment is dependant on the amount of tissue stretch that is caused. Suction is utilised while the CoolSculpting treatment takes please, therefore the more tissue pulled, the more overall discomfort you will feel.
You can expect to see noticeable results between 2-3 months after the initial treatment, with greater results if multiple treatments are carried out.
What are the possible risks associated with CoolSculpting?
Side effects of CoolSculpting may include temporary numbness, bruising, redness, stinging, tingling, swelling and pain. Other rare side effects may also develop.
We advise our Melbourne clients to first meet with their physician to determine the best course of action possible, as not all persons or areas are suitable for CoolSculpting. This treatment is best suited for those who are either at, or close to, their ideal body weight.
If you are based in Sydney, you can also make a booking for a coolsculpting treatment with our Sydney partner Heber Davis or can also make a booking if in Melbourne with our local partner Total Face Group.
